Masters Of Sound Design

Sound Effects & Design - Masters Of Sound DesignWe at Sound Effects & Design are a new boutique audio and sound company, and we have much to learn. And yes, we are always learning. There's often the buzz of childlike innocence when we experiment with new sounds or start opening and auditioning new sound libraries or audio files.

If remaining a "child at heart" is good for you, then what better way to remain a child than making whacky, wild, weird and wonderful sound and music for moving images.

So as independant filmmakers ourselves we at Sound Effects & Design love to learn and so we have placed a few videos from the masters of Sound Effects & Design.

Big Film Sound Design

With the possible exception of Bruce Lee's Kung Fu movies, Star Wars must be the most famous and most imitated film of all time, not only for the quotes such as (spoiler alert!), "Luke, I am your father!" but also simply for the most excellent sound effects and design on any film before or since.

Listen to the brilliant Master of Sound Design and Sound Effects Ben Burtt on Lightsaber Sound Design

And here's a cool short film about the importance of Sound Design and Sound Effects for a Star Wars Episode II

Wall-E was not not one of Pixar's best movies, but the sound design and sound fx (SFX) were awesome. Step forward master sound designer Ben Bertt yet again!

And here is a little on the excellent sound design that was part of Avatar
